OLIVER TRUCKING PRICING ADJUSTMENT NOTIFICATION

(September 1, 2008)     Please be advised effective September 15, 2008, Oliver Trucking, LLC will implement an increase in freight charges on less than truckload shipments originating from, or destined to, points in the States of AZ-CA-CO-ID-MT-NV-NM-OR-UT-WA and WY.

 

This will result in a increase equal to five percent (5.0%) of the net freight charges for Less than truckload shipments which weigh 5,000 pounds or less.  Shipments which weigh 5,001 pounds or more, shall NOT be subject to this increase.  This increase will be Shown on our freight bills as a “origination charge” or a “destination charge”.

 

This increase is made necessary to offset substantial cost increases associated with the Movement of shipments from and to the affected areas.  Oliver Trucking, LLC has not Increased its base rates since April of 2006 and rates in others areas served are not affected by this action.

Indianapolis, Indiana (September 1, 2006)-M. Douglas Williams, President of Venture Logistics, Inc today announced that it has purchased Oliver Trucking of Indianapolis, Indiana.

"Oliver Trucking is a long time, highly thought of carrier that has had a great name in the transportation business for many years, said Doug Williams". "It has always been a leader in providing the utmost of customer service and while being cost competitive". "This acquisition will assist both Venture and Oliver in its goal of extending quality services to our existing customer base".

The acquisition will now give Oliver and Venture terminal locations in New Jersey, South Carolina, California, Texas and multiple locations in Indiana. Venture and Oliver will continue in the fields of logistics, dedicated contract carriage, truckload, LTL consol and value-added services. OLIVER TRUCKING GENERAL RATE INCREASE

(March 15, 2006)--On April 3, 2006, Oliver Trucking Corporation will implement a General Freight Rate increase on less than truckload rates of 4.0 percent (4.0%). Neither minimum charge rates nor truckload rates will increase.

Increased costs in insurance, technology, supplies and labor have necessitated these rate changes. The increases will help Oliver more closely meet revenue needs.

Oliver Trucking General Rate Increase

(May 25, 2005)--On July 1, 2005, Oliver Trucking Corporation will implement a General Freight Rate increase of approximately 5.50 percent to our base rates for minimum charge and less than truckload (LTL) traffic. Truckload rates will increase 3.0 percent. Additionally, certain accesorial charges in OLTG Rules Tariff 110 Series will increase.

This increase is necessary to offset the continued increases in cargo and liability incurance as well as increased health care costs and costs involved with driver recruiting.

Oliver Driver Places in Driving Championships


(June 7, 2004)--Oliver Trucking driver Jimmie Carter scored 320 out of a possible 400 points to win third place at the 2004 Indiana Truck Driving Championships over the weekend.  This year they made the course more difficult for the participants by using 53 foot trailers as opposed to the 48 footers used in the past.

As always, Jimmie did a great job showing his professional driving skills, great attitude and sportsmanship in representing Oliver Trucking. If you see Jimmie, take a moment to congratulate him on his stellar effort.

 

Oliver Trucking General Rate Increase

(June 1, 2004)--On July 1, 2004, Oliver Trucking Corporation will implement a General Freight Rate increase of approximately 6.10 percent to our base rates for minimum charge and less than truckload (LTL) traffic. Truckload rates will increase 3.0 percent.

This increase is necessary to meet rising costs associated with insurance, taxes, health care and to meet revenue needs for equipment replacement and service improvement.

Oliver Trucking Wins Carrier of the Year Award

(March 26, 2004)--Oliver Trucking has enjoyed a long standing partnership with Universal Manufacturing and Logistics and recently Oliver was honored as Universal's carrier of the year.
